Z-Display is a scientific plotting and data visualization package. Itcontains 30 2-D and 3-D display formats including bar, line, surface,block, intensity, level-line, level surface, sphere, and density graphs;curve, scatter, surface, grid, lattice, and network plots; flow fields;and various charts.Z-Display features five coordinate systems, four scale types, 2-D and 3-Derror bars, and aspect control. Z-Display accepts arrays in either ASCIIor binary forms. Arrays can have multiple, labeled dimensions and columnsthat can be flexibly mapped to display attributes such as position andcolor. Displays can accommodate higher dimension arrays through variousforms of superimposition, animation, and display stacking. Multiplecolorspaces and lighting are supported.Displays can be superimposed or drawn in subwindows, and annotations suchas text, symbols, and arrows added. Displays can be manipulatedinteractively in SunTools and the X Window System, saved as TIFF orraster files, and written as PostScript files.
